Cardiology for the Practitioner
Virtual Meeting
Saturday, April 12, 2025

Dear Colleague,

On behalf of the Division of Cardiology at St. Michael's Hospital, I am pleased to extend a personal invitation to you to participate in a live webinar meeting for the 36th in the series entitled "Cardiology for the Practitioner" on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

This annual educational event has been very well-received by cardiovascular clinicians for over 35 years, including primary care physicians, internists, cardiologists, and allied health care team members (e.g., nurses and pharmacists). Our objectives, as in previous years, will be to provide a meaningful educational experience relevant for the day-to-day management of cardiac patients, as well as dealing with cutting edge advances, all in an atmosphere that promotes interaction between the St. Michael’s Hospital faculty and the participants. Key clinical areas that will be covered are: Atrial Fibrillation, Heart Failure (both HFpEF and HFrEF), Diabetes Mellitus, Chronic Kidney Disease, Obesity, Dyslipidemia (including LDL-cholesterol, triglycerides, Lp(a)), and secondary prevention management post-acute coronary syndromes. As well, we will showcase innovations and new combinations relevant to your patients. Interactive components via polling, audio, and chat will allow for group discussion and for your questions to the faculty to be asked and answered live.

We are pleased to announce that the Canadian Heart Research Centre will be partnering with us for a twenty-third year in coordinating this event.

The registration fee to participate in this virtual meeting is $25.00. To register, please visit www.chrc.net/smh. Should you have any questions, please contact us at: [email protected]
